About Cedar Hill Farm
Our Farm sits on 25 pristine acres including pastures, wooded areas with trails, and natural streams. We are located in East Asheville, which is conveniently located to Fairview, Arden, Skyland and Biltmore Forest.
At Cedar Hill Farm, we believe that your horse is a valuable part of your family and a cherished companion. We offer nothing but the best of care at our beautiful farm, and at all times your horse will have a stall available with daily turn out weather permitting, at our discretion. We focus on Natural Horsemanship with a lot of tender loving care.
Amenities include a beautiful new barn, clean rest-room, climate controlled, secure tack room, paddock attached to rear of barn, covered shaving storage, horse trailer parking, composted manure for fly control, a 70’ x 140’ riding arena that includes barrels, poles, a Parelli ball and standing block, trails on the property, and several small streams. We are excited to announce a horse playground, so keep in touch for the opening date!
The owners, Mark and Becky Holt, live only a few yards from the barn. Mark is the barn manager, so your horse will receive professional on-site care, day and night.
On-site Healthy Stride Endorsed Farrier
For convenience with hoof trimming or shoeing, we offer an on-site farrier. Mark has several years of experience and is now a Healthy-Stride endorsed farrier. With this experience available, lameness or hoof problems are brought immediately to your attention.
What Our Boarders Say
"Kleio has been at Cedar Hill Farm since January, 2009. I chose Cedar Hill for many reasons. There is a beautiful, well-kept barn, large paddocks with hills and streams, a great riding ring and miles of trails. All of these things are excellent for developing my young horse, but most importantly is the mental and emotional environment in which Kleio now lives. Mark and Becky are true “horsemen.” Horses are their passion, and we share the same Natural Horsemanship philosophies. I know without a doubt that Kleio is in the best possible care. Since moving her to Cedar Hill she is happier and healthier than she’s ever been."
